Legal Project Manager – Leading Global Law Firm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Legal Project Manager (LPM) to join a highly regarded global law firm. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a market-leading team, fully integrated into high-profile client relationships and core business units such as Corporate, Financial Markets, Litigation, Real Estate, and Tax.
As a Legal Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering complex, high-value legal projects efficiently and effectively. You will be embedded within client teams, working alongside lawyers, partners, and business service professionals to manage workflows, track progress, and ensure seamless delivery of legal services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a core member of client teams, supporting the delivery of complex legal matters and transactions.
- Develop project plans, manage budgets, and track workstreams to ensure efficient legal service delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including lawyers, partners, legal technology specialists, and resource managers to implement best-practice project management.
- Identify risks, monitor budgets and scope changes, and provide strategic solutions to keep projects on track.
- Leverage legal technology and process improvement tools to enhance project efficiency.
- Influence and support teams in adopting new ways of working, ensuring continuous improvement in legal service delivery.
- Deliver client presentations, facilitate workshops, and support client pitches.
Key Requirements:
- Proven project management experience within a law firm, professional services, or complex corporate environment.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in legal operations, matter management, or process improvement is highly desirable.
- A project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile) is beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, handling competing deadlines effectively.
